Corey Breneisen is an artist and art educator living in the Pennsylvania Wilds. Corey received her MFA in painting from Pratt Institute and is currently completing her M.Ed in art education at Kutztown University. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally as well as throughout the United States. The primary focus of her work is exploring the concept of place and how we connect with our geography. Abstract in nature, her work is process oriented. She thinks of it as a kind of archeology, an unearthing of layers, histories, and meanings.

Outside of the studio, Corey enjoys exploring the vast number of hiking trails near her home, kayaking along the Susquehanna River, and doing paddle board yoga.
